Im after some figures suitable for some generic/non-aligned/undivided ‘lesser’ ‘medium’ and ‘greater’ size daemons compatible with epic. Any links or ideas for suitable minis?

Microworld games beastmen range might have some suitable candidates but those aren’t released yet.

I'll be using the standard Sword-armed Mutant Beastmen from the current Chaos Sprue, painted in daemonic colours   as my lesser-daemons, their horns fit them with the visual theme of my Chaos army I'll be making eventually, one day...

Other than that, I don't know any manufacturers that make suitable proxies - perhaps some of the smaller Skyth beasts from the SoW range?

Hmm that's a good idea, although im not sure how well they will sit with GW daemons. Its also just occurred to me that the SM era larger metal daemons would be good for 'medium' size daemons.

I had a look at the Pendraken fantasy and other ranges in slightly larger scales in search of medium and greater daemons, but no-one seems to have daemons

Any usable Warmaster stuff? Sure they're a bit larger but there might be some good stuff from the chaos beastmen, daemons undead or similar.

Khurasah Miniatures' Space Demons would be a good start (sculpt a new head; add weapons) for medium-sized daemons. The queen model would work well as a greater daemon if you add wings/weapons.


No weapons here, but using GW dark pegasus wings.

Hmm yes with a head swap those look pretty good. The other minis im considering are various GW fantasy nurglings and maybe some of the familiars, there's a good range of them across the years and they might look ok re-painted/weapon swapped.

Now that exodus wars is open again i can buy the 500 zombies needed to accompany the daemons and make a start

500 zombies? Seriously?? What will you be using them as? Even my plague zombies for my LaTD armies only number a bit over 300.

40-50 per knight, couple of hundred for infantry, and lots and lots for the titans
For a heavily themed chaos army
