If you've ever wondered why it sucks so bad but you couldn't put your finger on what it was...

here's some reasons.

Warning:  The language is NSFW.  And it's 70 minutes.

Heh, I watched this the other day (I think slashdot linked to it). I could have done without the pizza roll nonsense, but I did like the rest.

How anyone could forget the lessons learned from World War I and the French Revolution is beyond me.

Michael Moore meets George Lucas.

"George and Me"

Interesting how much the large battle scenes look like WH Apocalypse -- gotta have "ramming rules" for armored vehicles.... right.

The reviewer does a great job of taking apart the lightsaber choreography.  One of the things that was fairly cool about Lord of the Rings was that the swordplay tended to be pretty efficient -- one, two, or maybe three actions, max, before there was blood. The drag-on lightsaber duels in PM were transparently exibition bouts.

Compare to the footage from Plovdiv, 2009.  Around 3:09 is a comparatively long bit of swordplay before there is a hit -- and it would be quite disabling with a lightsaber.
European Epee championships.

I found it entertaining and insightful, in spite of the tone-deaf "crazy serial murderer" element. Obviously nothing tragic or gruesome ever happened in his social circle.

I'm thankful he finally gave voice to the awfulness of TPM.
