so i finished the over lays for the table today, they are still in they still need work but you get the idea.
Also scratch built a landing pad, not 100% happy with it but it will do for now.

Love your table and buildings and i quite like your landing pad. I always have a hard time judging dimensions from pictures. If you don't mind i have two questions. What is the size of your table and dimensions of your ruin building squares?

I'm looking forward to seeing more pics :).

thanks for the kind words :)

the table itself is 6x4 ft   and is  2 :  3x2 ft sections

the ruins are mounted on 105 mm x 90 mm x 3mm   mdf

yea the ruins were in the box set from the last edition of this game. you can find them on ebay pretty often. the tiny ruins on the circular building w/ the flaming top came on the sprue for the infantry bases.

Why 105mm x 90mm x 3mm? Why not 100mm x 100mm x 3mm? The lack of symmetry and odd dimensions are mocking me.

to stop people using them as a pre-measuring tool?

since the too sides are quite similar, you can't be sure whether that's 90 or 105 mm, so you can't use it for guessing the range of 1000mm weps.

Might be slight but I'm sure I could see visual which side was which. Little detials like that bother me.

they are that size as they were all pre cut when i got them to that size so it was out of my hands.

Only on days that end in y. And it not everything just somethings like symmetry. My game boards have VERY symmetric layouts.  :)
