Got these from Chaos Orc(on sale !) They are from the old G/W (Proabably OOP)Warmaster  Undead Egyptian kind'a Army. I think I'll use the one on horseback as the Nightbringer ? And the Floaty one as the Deceiver ? The other one I probably will not use a C'Tan.  But for something else ... Non-Necron.  'Cause he's cool !!     I don't want to cut'm up since they are nice models ...

the two on the left are still available as part of the undead characters for warmaster and I think the other might be a mage of some sort but I can't find it off hand.

They're all pieces from the U/D character blister, which also comes with a nifty pile of skulls.

I guess this is a good a place as any to mention some interesting intell I just picked up while watching the History Channel.  After again watching the excellent History Channel program about "Battles of the Bible", very good history ... the next show was about "Angels".  Again very well done from a historical standpoint not purely religious. Any way the study of Angels brought up the name Ahriman, which is the name of the Zoreastroanism God of Evil.   Now a G/W Chaos Figure.  :oh:  And even more interesting to me was in the ancient Hewbrew text ... the word Satan ... meaning "Adversary" ... is pronounced SAY'TAAN ... which kind of reminds me of ... C'tan ...     Interestng  ... Yes ?  Had no idea the G/W crew were such an academic lot ...   :)   Learn something new every day !  :D

Just about every single chaos name in warhammer/40k is biblical.

Vast amounts of most GW systems are plundered from various areas of world history/culture/literature/other games/stuff, often not very subtly (think there have been some pretty awful special character names recently*, ... and the campaign name 'tempus fugitives' made me especialy unhappy). Names taken from religion etc are very common in many sci-fi wargames and computer games, eg Gallente spaceship names in eve are mostly gods/goddesses, hyperion, enyo etc etc. Its just an easy way to get cool sounding names.

*im sure someone has made a list somewhere

Edit: rant tags added

The Seated Tomb King from that pack is/was going to be used as the statue on one of my BFG battleships, replacing the more typical angel.

Then the bloody thing broke off and hid.  Curses.

Yes, G/W is known for "nik'n" names of all sorts ... Terminator & Predator instantly comes to mind. I also remember from Titan Legion, The Battle for Gehenna(I think I spelled that right ?!) Another Hebrew/Biblical reference ...  Which sometimes I think is kind of cool !                        And I'm about to paint up & put the seated Tomb King in some Temple Ruin ... And call it the Temple of Set ...   Temple Ruins has been a recent theme with me ...  Don't know why ?
