"Indeed" You are impressive at "fiddling". I tried to make a wreath of laurels from Green Stuff for my converted emperor's champion (to represent the Iron Halo) in 40k scale and the result is, at best, passable.

to continue this thread (as well as the Grot Bomb Launcha - see other thread) here it what I am working on at the moment
okay this is still a work in progress

it is still slightly glossy due to the chestnut ink, but this will "disappear" when I have highlighted and varnished

this looks better in the photograph then it does in real life!
and yes I know it is not epic, but I have put some of my FW Ork Battlewagons together as well!

Hi all, I'm working on my 40k Sons of Janus Space Marines' colour scheme (black/white/red), Warhammer flying vampires (!) and army, Gothic currently on hold but tempted by Orks, and in Epic, currently, and thanks to this forum, my most active modelling area, (1) fiddling with a Rhino to find the right colour for the Ares Guard marines (2) constructing a Bad Moons Gargant (Deffsta) and - most importantly - (3) Thundabad 1, my first (and currently only) Ork Landa - presently being painted.
cheers.

After the PSI titan I wanted to make something easily finishable and quick for a change and started a Squat Grand Battery. I based all of the Thudd Guns and Mole Mortars and painted a base coat of boltgun metal. So far I've painted the carriage of the guns green and added some bronze details. I also drilled the gun barrels open. I did the same to the Mortars before realizing their business end points DOWN instead of up like the regular mortars.
My Emperor's champion conversion for 40k is actually progressing. During the weekend I lengthened his sword blade for about 1,5 centimeters. Now I'll just have to lengthen the handle and add a pommel and then I'll finally be able to start painting!
