The Lost & the Dipped

The whole gang are nearly done, but I finished Eza this evening and thought you'd like to see him first.
Using my desklamp as a lightsource so sorry for the slight glaryness.



Although there are areas for improvement, I'm pretty happy how he turned all in all; it was great fun to paint; using purple as a major colour for the first time in a while was cool - I think it really suits his regal bearing!





More tomorrow if I really get on it.

Finished the champion figure.



Worst model of the bunch imo (well that's my excuse for the mistakes). The hands and weird arm position just don't do much for me, I like the unusual helmet though.



He looks better from behind. I carried the colours through from the leader, keeping the purple restrained to the sash though.

I'm also carrying the little flame motif through the whole unit to really tie them together; I think it just adds a little bit of extra flair and brings them more to life.



Here are the rest, nearly there bar boots, bases, details and a tidyup. Not sure whether I like them all having yellow trousers though, perhaps it is a little uniform for Orcs?

I still have those orcs sitting in my old spares box. I bought them when they first came out (yes I am over 40 years old   ).
Yours are painted much better than mine (my excuse is that I did them well over 20 years ago).

Keep the good stuff coming mate.
