FF3+
What is the Soulgrinder using as a Small Arms weapon to get such an awesome firefight value?
I'll be doing some updating of this list after I get back from vacation mid-November.
Are you not familiar with the Demon codex from W40k Chroma? It would probably be helpful to this list and I hear it can be found about the internets for research
With the W40k demon list having very few shooty units, GW not unsurprisingly made the Soul Grinders guns rather shooty so FF3+ may not be too much of a stretch, though perhaps 4+. It has a weapon equivalent to 3 Storm Bolters, plus a vomit attack that is basically a heavy flamer. It can be upgraded to have the option to instead fire like a battlecannon or to have a single 24 range max possible strength shot.
The W40k Codex Demons is a proper, single race army and not the allied mix of Daemons plus mutated mortals you have here in this list. Not that there’s anything wrong with such a mix (Marines and Guard ally too say) and it would represent the appropriate sort of army you might get from a Daemonworld, it just wouldn’t represent the sort of wholly demonic manifestation sort of army.
I would definitely like to see some a properly done demon list with Horrors (they are the default, common Tzeentch demons afterall not Flamers which are rarer supporting ones), Flesh Hounds, mounted Demons, heck maybe even the Demon Chariots (these are present in W40k too, not just Warhammer).
I have a load of conversion ideas for these demons and will test this list out sometime, just not likely to be for a while (best get competent with the basic lists first).
