Don't do what I did with three separate events in 3 different countries (and no way of remembering any of the dates!), but instead...

I tried to go for the 1st of January so I would always remember it (plus some other reasons of course).

Unfortunately this got over ruled by the famillies as an inconvenient date so now all I remember is some time in January, not on the day I wanted.

My wife and I started going out 1/21 and that's her birthday. We then got married 7/21...6 months difference. So all is good. I just wished the kids were on the same page   My girls are 10/8 and 6/12.

The trick is to engrave into the rings the date. That is "lovely" for her and very handy note for you

Sadly we have boh lost our original rings and I'm sure it wouldn't work now!

Not married, but met my SO on New Years Eve/New Years day.  Easy date night because of it.  We just have to figure out where we are going to ring in the new year.

My ex and I did the same thing, July 26th. More than once I had to check my ring because I kept forgetting if it was the 26th or 278th. Coincidentally, the day my divorce was finalized is the same day as my brother's anniversary!

278th

Given this as the second option for the day, I'd go with the first if you couldn't remember :)

Don't do what I did with three separate events in 3 different countries...

Heh.  A friend of mine is in this same situation.

His wife is from Thailand.  They had 2 wedddings in Thailand - one traditional Buddhist ceremony in the hill country where here father is from and a "western" wedding (which is really a Thai take on the western traditions and a bit... off compared to what we normally think of as a wedding).  Then once the immigration paperwork was done in the US, they immediately signed a marriage certificate.  Later that was followed by a traditional wedding.

So, only 2 countries, but 4 weddings following 4 different cultural traditions (Buddhist, Thai-western, courthouse-steps, Episcopal).

Of course, not only do they not forget the dates to any of them, we've accused them of adding made-up dates to use as excuses.  "Um... no, we can't go because... er... it's our wedding anniversary... yeah... which one?... oh, the third one..."

Yen and I were married to our ex-spouses on the exact same day - June 2, 1990.

So perhaps June 3 would be a good selection?
