Its taken them a decade for that? I'm underwealmed. It would have been good 10 years ago but now it doesn't stack up well compared to products like descent.

I am of course getting a copy :)

And yes with the timer and everything else it seems 1st edition rules as it were.

FFG have certainly raised the bar when it comes to quality of components etc.

Still FFG have nothing like Space Hulk, not even Doom comes close.

I wonder if, after this initial print run, Space Hulk will go to FFG. Certainly FFG are better performers in the board game market than GW ever was.  And I'm sure they'd pay an absolute BOMB in licensing and royalties for it.

Copy pre-ordered on the credit card. This will make an amazing christmas prezzy for one of my young'uns who's been dying for this game ever since he saw a battered old copy at my brother's.

But can I hold out till Christmas?

With assault cannons and librarians coming in the box, it'll most likely be a combination of the 1st edition rules and deathwing.

Also, the board sections looking like they'll be compatible with previous editions. A nice bonus!

Yeah...interested if the rules remain the same; anything revised and i can't see it being all that great...

Lets face it, nearly everyone that has space hulk will eventually get a copy of this... GW could have even set the price higher, I'm sure it still would have sold.

Not tempted right now, but time will wear me down I'm sure.  :sigh:

They are only doing one print run.

If you wait, you may never get a copy at all.

Aww, they're making a model of the C.A.T. too! That might be the clincher for me  :vD

And I almost did - but shipping is 28GBP! So the price went up to 87GBP for me - really too much.

Just ploughing through the warseer thread on this. A lot of people are up in arms on the price. Eh? I remember buying my 2nd edition box for £50!

If it sells out in hours I think GW will change their mind. I'm not sure I much like the models to be honest.
