As for the Deth Kopter, it looks well cool, but the piece is stolen by the Photoshop wizardry on the Marine speeders, they look so cool!

I do like to "manipulate" pics now and again

These two are my favourites

I also like this image and there is no digital trickery here...

Hi!

Nice pictures!

The ork fighter is attached to the ruined building in the background and the picture is taken at an angle where the attachment cant be seen.

Is that right?

The Ork fighter bears more than passing resemblance to Me-262. And I just noticed the plastic Ork battlewagons (the ones in the top right corner of the topmost pic) from Titan Legions have turrets which are almost exact copies of Panther turrets. It seems someone in GW still thinks the Orks are WWII germans... :p

Great Work, Jimbo!

I remember being impressed with those digitally remastered photos when I saw them in one of Jimbos battle reports.  What function on photoshop do you use to remove the stands Jimbo (if its ok to ask!?).

I think I actually used Fireworks for that picture, however the tool is the same, in Fireworks it's the clone tool, and in Photoshop the Clone Stamp Tool.

This basically copies from one part of the picture to another, so I select a point of plain grass and paint over the base thereby covering up the base with grass from another part of the picture (a bit like select, copy and paste but with the advantage that you have slightly more control and can make it a little bit more natural).

You could use the same effect to double the number of planes in the picture if you wanted!

(if its ok to ask!?).

ask away, I have no secrets... as for digitally remastered pictures check out my page of them

nearly so close yet not quite right...

the fighter is actually perched/balanced on the building itself and because the two foreground buildings are slightly behind the building on which the fighter is perched then it appears to be more in front of the buildings then it actually is

...or it's all done with magic

Hi!

Ingenious!

Thanks for the tips on photoshop, I'll try experimenting with it.
