The roundabouts nice, though I hear Otter roads are coming in a while which should be nicer again.

Edited to add: also considering they're 6mm scale the height difference between the pavement and the road is a bit silly, looks like a foot or more's drop.

GylnG - welcome to the world :)

Most countries outside the west have very large drops, to stop vehicles encroaching onto pavements and make it harder for street sellers to encroach onto roads.

I've been watching this range on the Ambush Alley forum. Look's really nice but I'm waiting for his 20mm Iraqi/Afghanistan range to expand.

Ah oops I hadn't realised that, I've been too poor to leave the UK more than a couple of brief times in my life. Maybe one far off year if I'm lucky.

Still looks odd to my British eyes, so I'll stick with lower pavements myself.

If you easterners think that a foot is about right, you would hate parts of the U.S. where they continue to pave over the existing roads resulting in streets that are nearly flush with the sidewalks.  Then they get to shut the road down for a month while they scrape everything down.

I like them, but if our favorite aquatic mammal is working on roads, I'll wait to see what he produces.

I am also in the market for some 6mm roads, both "country" and "paved" so I may set up some cool urban footprints.

The 3 6mm road retailers I have on my radar are:

GameCraft

Angel Barracks

JR Miniatures

The prices seem in the same ballpark as each other, although JR seems to have decent bundles that the others dont seem to have.

Question #1: Do you know of other manufacturers of roads in this scale that I do not have listed above?

Question #2: Do you have experience with any of these, or others, whether positive or negative?  If I am trying to populate a 4'x4' board with roads, that a fair bit of dough, let alone a 6'x4'...

I don't have JR's roads, but I do have their rivers, which I highly recommend. I'm pretty sure the roads are made of the same material as the rivers.
