Thanks Phil; good to have positive comments from you; i've been looking at your napoleonics and i reckon they're alright :-) and i'd noticed that Tertius had been playing iwht nectaris toy's too; bet you can't wait to get hold of some metal version eh?

COMMISION FINISHED!

Finally completed these Vespii(sp?) Scout ships (though one is 'embiggened in think...) tonight. Which means that all that's to do is to varnish the bundle, get some proffesional photo's done and send them safely packing to thier own across the seas! Bon Voyage Mien Liebchiens!

With these i tried to keep to the same style as the original starfire Light Cruiser that i painted at the beggining of the thread.  They're quite simple (which i found a little frustrating as i tried to complicate the paint scheme somewhat!) so i tried viewing as gaming tokens rather than miniatures; in ways i think they're quite 'rough' in places but i'll leave the efficacy of the paint job to be judged by thier owner.
Professional shots being taken tomorrow and shipping expected within the week.

Well, everything is done and winding it's way back home after I let my flatmate loose to take some piccies; he lacks a macro lens at the moment but i think he;ll be borrowing one soon...

Can't believe it's really been 8 weeks from start to finish on this one! A few set backs and holidays got in the way but it did seem a while! Nevertheless an enjoyable bunch and if anyone has been impressed by what they see here and wants stuff painted to a similar standard then do feel free to ask :-)

WOW! LOVE those AFVs - are they going to be available commercially? And if so, where from and how much?

A good start would be sending Otterman a PM, asking about Smythii Tanks...

IRL they are very nice, but very long in relation to their width.
