And since I probably won't ever get the time to make it happen, I'll spill the beans. Or the recipe:

Take any one edition of the game famously referred to as 'Epic'
You also need a freshly cultivated idea of the background to Aeronef or Leviathans.
Add a dash of creativ - no, let's be honest, madness
Mix all in a large bowl and sprinkle assorted parts over the resulting mess.
Shape the resulting material into small Aeronef-type vehicles which are compatible in size and appearance to Imperial 6mm troops
Turn on the oven at 1:300 (6mm) scale.
Leave to bake for a few months.
Apply paint once cool and serve immediately with a selection of fresh dice.
:vD

Recent posts on the Leviathans webpage include:
-First Game Design Concepts
-Fiction- Monster In The Sky_Part 2
-Artwork- Evolution of the French Leviathans Part 3

I quite like what I have seen so far. And there are quite a few nations so should avoid too much duplication of fleets within local gaming club. So far I think we will have at least 7: UK, France, Italy, Germany Russia, Japan & USA.

Cheers

James

If the models look anything like the artwork it should be awesome!! They look far more detailed and characterful than Aeronef.

Cheers

James

It is indeed a promising looking game and a great concept.

To be fair, its at a different scale to Aeronef, which was always about Commanding Squadrons and Grand Fleets.  This looks more like larger scale game which will indeed give you the additional detail, though at the cost of playing fleet actions.

In anycase, Ive been watching this with great interest and will continue to do so!

(Yes V, I've got a few Overloads at the moment too, but then that seems to be the new normal these days...)
