about 15 hrs ago i got a max connection error on this forum and then when i tried to go to the new SG forum i got a max connection error there too.

Sure. Essentially, blocking a really bad (so bad, I didnt even recognise it initially!) DoS attack!

This may have been a significant contributing factor.



EDIT: I am almost flattered that we have grown big enough and important enough to register on the radar of some of these people.

Why on earth would anyone target TacComm for a denial of service attack?

The random malice of the internet never ceases to amaze me.

It was probably GW, wanting us to stop playing Epic and start playing 40k.

Just had my first

for a couple of days. Having said that I did get a general web time out error some point yesterday afternoon.

So, aside from the one a couple of days ago (hopefully and glitch in the matrix), does the silence mean that the errors that plagued us have finally been banished?
