Those are really quite lovely :)  Best of luck for the game!

Good stuff Tertius. So good that I have resolved to send you 3 free Hadrians.

But wait, there's more! In a moment of whimsy I designed this:

Incidentally, what physics model did you use for the weapon? Railgun or 'nuclear pellet'?

I'm leaning Railgun/Magnetic Accelerator for now.  The nuclear payload is a great concept, but, especially given the scenario I am running (a battle for control of the only jumpport facility on a key resource hub), the railgun makes more sense. Nobody in my scenario would risk a stray nuke leveling the only ticket off-world (or killing most of the inhabitants of the capital city on whose outskirts the jumpport lies).  Plus, I didn't have stats worked up for that sort of weapon.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, and to you, Otterman, for the Hadrians.  Why do I predict it will be a "First line's free" deal for you though?

BTW, that new turret is badass. What new and evil weapon is that?

It's just a Bison turret variant based on the scanned artwork. Nothing special.

I biggerized the hatches, noting that they seemed small on the original. For certain values of 'small', of course.

New Bumpy-Gun (copyright, trademark) variant of the Bison.

Turret variants ordered through PrintAPart. Very cheap!

I cast a few of the variant turrets and sent them to Tertius. Also have some on hand for you converters out there.

Tertius observed that the drive wheels should be viewable on the 'inside' angles, so I re-did the model and have sent that to PrintAPart for printing.

Then I can have a higher resolution 'bogeyfied' version. Tertius will get a few free ones of this as well, for his cogent observations.

Wow! :vD   The board's back up and there are turrets in the mail to me???
Apparently the "ides of April" are better than the "ides of March.'

Thanks
