Worked all the evening on the leman russ.

Here is the look of the dozer blade now:

It's missing the final details like the winged skull which will be in "aged bronze" soon.

Oh No. Stop that Chaplain L, they are tooooo tempting.
I'll have to break out the little cardboard ones and try to resist those babies, sob.

Incredible Dozer Napalm, I thought it was real for a second!

The dozer blades are indeed very nice, excellent weathering!

The flat cardboard ships just don't do Tall Ships justice, feed that urge!!!  :vD

Gentlemen, any suggestion for the name of my Brit privateer?

Here are a couple of things I've been tinkering with this evening.

First up is a test assembly of one of a wonderful set of etched pylons I acquired a while ago. I've got six of this size and a few larger ones too; when they are fully assembled, based and finished they should go nicely with my city themed armies and terrain set...
These dinky little things are one of the most insanely fiddly things I've ever built, so I'm going to build a little jig to hold them together during construction before starting the full batch.

I've been reading some of the excellent Eldar blogs over in the 6mm section and they've really inspired me. So I broke out the Eldar boxes and pulled out this titan, which I'm remodelling a little to give the model some more movement and dynamism.
I started out with the legs and chopped them up a bit so the titan seems to stirde forward, squashing some ruins and rubble underfoot. Please excuse my awful flash piccies.  :vo

Here is the Warlock again...

I'm reposing the Warlock head to make the model a bit more unique, I made a collar of greenstuff and plastic tube to raise and tilt the head forward.
I've seen a couple of Warlock conversions over the years which cant the head forwards like this; I like the look it gives, making the Titan more imposing and warlike. Along with the speed and grace of the titan, this is just what I want to emphasise so even the large war engines suit my Saim-Hann aesthetic.

Cheers
G

Nice work on those legs !
And the electric pylon is great, good idea to make a realistic town.
Where did you get this?

I got hold of them from a modelmaking company I was working for a few years ago; they had a set left over from an old job, I expressed an interest in them and was told I could take them away with me - result! As far as I know they are unique, custom etched (in stainless incidently, not brass) for a specifc job so I can't point you to any more sources. However, if you look at model railway stuff you should be able to find something similar; I believe Airfix produced plastic pylons in the past.

Cheers
G

...and the Skyth (there's 300 little ones, in case anyone's counting - and I'm thinking about adding another hundred or so...):
