I mounted them on those bases with banner poles for ease of movement and handling/Survivability.  I'm doing the same with my GK Infantry, and will do the same for my Tau & Kroot ...    8v)                  Upgunned some, numbered all ...

I like the paint scheme, but those HUGE bases kill it for me.

Really nice stuff L4, it's a greatcolour scheme IMO it works very well.

I use these bases too, mostly because I have tons to use up. I do admit the models look better based properly but I'm satisfied so long as I can use them in a battle. With the flag pole at the back for ease of moving I think that's L4's intention too.

Malakai, I liked your last Avatar... This one looks like Ronald McDonalds little sister... and she's doing it wrong.   Bring back the gorgeous one please.

This one reminds me abit of the 'ol "ultraviolence"

The other was beautiful, but too calm.

Well I chose those bases for not only "survivability" but balance on the gaming table ... These Boyz are top heavy. So if I put them on a slope they won't fall over. :oh:  And the banner pole is basically a "grab bar", something to pick them up with.  I based my GK SMs & Ts on the long bases. With a banner pole, but will put flags on them ... just to look cool !   And act as a grab bar. I'll do the same with my T&K ... For the same reasons ... :alien:   The next thing is my GK Infantry. And at the same time working on my DAs. :D
