Just FYI,

In 40k, it has 2 structure points, which are mostly comparable to DC. So, even though it is clearly as big as a IG superheavy, it isn't as 'massive.'

I have to say I like it alot. I think that this style of layered armor would only work for Khornate daemon engines (maybe Slaaneshi if you got rid of the thickened/reinforced edges).

It sure looks better to me than a lord of battle, which always looked goonie to me.

it'd make a very lovely centerpiece for my (hypothetical) Dark Eldar.


Not screaming "the bloodied spanner of Khorne" to me I'm afraid

You know what? Remove the legs (leave the two cc-arms)and Khorne symbol. Put on a pair of Chaos-Warhound legs and voilá! Instand Slaanesh Subjugator. It would fit perfectly.

Apparently, I'm the only one that just doesn't like it.  

I applaud them for departing from the "spikes and skulls" chaos style, but I just find this lacking and out of character.  It looks like a mechanical tyranid model to me.  It's a bug, not daemonic, gratuitous melded human bodies notwithstanding.  The gloss paint job makes it worse.

It definitely doesn't look Khornate.  Khorne is supposed to be massive, brass-shod machinery of destruction.  This is "scuttling insect of doom" not the blocky, bulked up "run you over and never look back" style of the Jugger.  The thing that really bothers me is that all the plates could easily have been done in the style of the Jugger shoulders and head crests to keep stylistic coherency and still avoided all the "spikes and skulls" stuff.
