I'm working on a custodian titan from RYza; i got hold of a HORRIFICALLY painted and glued MK4 (?) metal warlord for £3 on Ebay missing it's dorsal weaponry and a few other bits; so it's getting twin linked plasma cannons, a wrecking ball, custodian head, custom made armour panels, carapace multi lasers (from FW chimera) a wrecking ball and a custodian bell; it's the last two i need help with.
Now: as we all know GW has gone to pot with it's bitz policy and so i wondered if anyone a) has any ideas on which bitz to ask mates for or b) has any bitz that would suit such a conversion.
i'm even considering scrap such as xmas decorations etc

Possibly the Wrecking ball from the new W40k Ork Truk? (optionally with some of the spikes cut off)

I doubt I have a Custodian bell spare but I'll have a look in my big bag of titan bits on the off-chance I have a second one.
Bits-wise the bell from the Vampire Count's Corpse Cart could be good for the Custodian Bell? (with or without a little greenstuff to fill in the couple of little dents)

Not sure how big it is, but I have one of these on order myself from the other side of the Atlantic so could let you know in a while. If it was too bit you could try Flagellant or Plague Monk bells.

Sadly neither of my above suggestions are in stock at those bits store, but they should re-stock at some point. Or you could try ebay, the seller 'Horde O Bits' has a few hundred auctions for current plastic bits and you could probably get them from him. He is a US seller unfortunately so would have to pay accordingly (the UK not having a similarly prolific seller to get bits from is annoying).

Best of luck with the conversion! Bits options are in many ways limited without being able to order metal bits, but having recently discovered the possibility of buying individual plastic bits has broadened my conversion possibilities a lot e.g. I was very happy recently to get all 6 of the certain mage's staff I needed from the plastic High Elf Dragon set to make some Exodite Support Chariots with suitably weird looking alien weapons

Bitzbox.co.uk is great for getting plastic parts from GW sprues.

Check out the new ork battle wagon and the Vampire corpse cart, should only cost a few pounds.

There is also a flail on the Skaven Plague monk sprue that is a little small, but not too bad.

For the devotional bell, I would suggest plasticard for the supports, a bell from the Empire Flagellant sprue, and well, quite a lot for the bell support from the SM or IG sprues. Could even use old bolters if you are wanting to keep with the blocky feel of the MkIV

Snap

Also to make a support arch to hold up the bell, you might consider two of these (again not sure of size but have some on order to make an epic cathedral one day):

Alternatively if it fits in scale and you're prepared to hack a fair amount of plastic off, you could use the two robed figures below as supports, but replace the down-held sword with the bell.

Damn you. Those are some great ideas! I had to rush into my basement to take a look at scale. Though both are a little big, they could easily be cut down to fit. Dont look too good on the beetlebacks, but on the imperator and metal boxy warlord, it would look good. Think it may be a lottle ornate for the most recent warlord though.

The WM screaming bell should still be in production.

I've got a devotional bell bit if you're after one. Well, sans the bell part. I guess it's technically just an arch. :p You could probably find something suitable at a craft store though to replace the bell.

I have one you're welcome to if he doesn't - they're huge compared to the wrecker though (13mm diameter without spikes...)

Good luck

I can feel that this is gonna be one hell of a titan! Need to find a colour scheme now...he deserves something more than the grey and green urban camo for my guard...

I know I have some spare bells from a flagellant set.  They should be in the ballpark of what you need for a devotional bell.

I'll put some scale pics up so you can take a look once I get home.
