I had reason to call in to the local...ish Games Workshop in Glasgow and while talking to a nice chap 'Chris,' one of the shops assistants I was informed that the store manager was very much into NetEpic too.

Well after introductions... which unfortunately didn't work as I instantly forgot his name (sorry, mate very bad mannered of me... I might not remember his name but I do remember the huge Epic Eldar Craftworld model and all the fantasticly painted Epic minis he kindly showed me). We got to talking about Epic in general and I mentioned TacComm and gave him the web address and explained all the great work on the site etc etc blah blah and he in turn told me of a fantastic promo game of NetEpic that he had planned for the 23rd of Feb in the store involving a massive load of Epic minis (Traitors vs. Loyalists as per the heresy fluff) in the storming of the Emperors Palace. I was told I could join in if I wanted. I could bring some stuff (4000 points IG) or just turn up and they would supply everything or I could just take pics for posting here. This invitation would be open to anyone else interested too.

So if anyone else is local and interested give them a call on Tel: 0141 221 1673 for further details, if you want to play. Or just turn up if you want to watch. I intend on being there and hope to take pics for TacComm.

Well, the Emperors Palace thing didn't quite happen... not enough people. However it has led to a couple of rather nice games AND a possible TITAN/GARGANT bash on the last Wednesday of April... news to follow.

Here is the game played on that day. It's not so much Emperors Palace as his Summer retreat in Bournemouth... ah well. Still, it was a great day and you'll have to read them to find out more.

Also, Justiniel... I was thinking of a possible EpiCelt battle between yourselves and our lot... any interest? It would be NetEpic rules and that's pretty much all I have sorted.
