I've just been informed that I'm weird. Apparently my wife thinks it's strange that I'm sitting in front of the computer getting all excited looking at pictures of... a ramp.
Apparently I've missed the point of the whole 'man/internet' thing...

:oo: What point?..

Thats clasic Warhead.

My wife hacked the internet banking so it SMS's a security code to her phone to complete direct deposit transactions :(.  I think she would rather the other option.

I don't really foresee a problem with this thing. E&C was able to do his molds, and I can out-mold him two ways to Sunday (sorry, southern US idiom). Proper disclosure: I can't sculpt my way out of a wet paper bag, so theoverall tally of his skills is higher than mine.

Actually, E&C never got a reliable mold of the ramp working..

I had to add some Evergreen plastic bitz, model putty, etc. to get the Ramps "right".   :))  But as you can see the E&C Gorgons turned out reasonably well !  :;):  IMO !   8v)    He done Good ! :agree:

It's ramp, it's ramp, it's better than bad, it's good!

Note that I added the rivets in pairs, as a design experiment.

I would like it with or without the rivets. What is the likelihood of the rivets adding to the complexity of the project over the coolness of the look? I take it that recessed wholes/dimples instead of rivets is not an option?

apologies O'man, I'm just trying to think what may be easier or more successful to cast. Hard to do when I have all the experience and know how of a common brick.

From a computation standpoint, the rivets are a minor complication.

From a printing standpoint, we run the risk of them breaking off.

From a casting standpoint, they tend to form air bubbles. However, these rivets are conical (a frustrum) and so air may flow out of them more easily. Experiments with the upcoming tankette will be informative.

From a visual standpoint, they're very Krieg-y.

I like the rivets, they add an extra layer of interest to the model.

:wow:  :D

I also love the rivets (aslong as they cast properly).
