I almost managed to get these in under the wire for 2008, but I ended up finishing them today. This is the final tc detachment for the time being for the Imperial Fists. I have now 8 Terminator stands and 4 Thunderbolts to reach 3500 points.

Now onto the ToTW09 Quota for this month :)

Since I want to keep this post up to date with all of my completed projects, I'm attaching the ToTW images as I complete them as well.

Thunderbolts set one:

Nice work on the T-bolts Vaaish. Man you really maintain a consistent standard.

Tell me, did you pick a standard that you were comfortable replicating in large quantities or did you pick your highest standard available to you and just trudge through making sure each one is immaculate?

Thanks! Hmm... how to answer this....

Mok: Perhaps one day, but for the time being I don't think I'll be making it over for any toruneys, you know you could always drop by over this side of the pond too.

Malakai: That's a tough one. Recently I've given myself a one week goal for each model set I'm working on to attempt to plow through my backlog. For most of my epic stuff I've been testing out new techniques on with weathering, washes, etc. so I can't say that I've picked the highest standard I can paint at but it's pretty close, in any event for most things I'm pretty comfortable doing it in large quantities since it relies more on toning washes to mix colors than mixing paints each time. Since I have a month to complete each section on the ToTW I did put a bit more effort into these by adding blending more than drybrushing and drilling out the weapons barrels. In any event, even doing more complex work on these didn't significantly increase the time it took to complete since I really only started with them on the 2nd (cleaning etc).

"ToTW"

Ah nuts, I was thinking about bribing you with free Otterstuff to do pretty samples for me.

Hmmm... I am intrigued about the idea of otterstuff bribes, I don't think ToTW will keep me that busy :)

EDIT: in other news, my terminators are on the way and once I get them completed my 3500 point marine army will be complete although I may add a few things here or there like rhinos and the like.

Thanks! Now adding in the sentinels from the other thread for archiving. I'm pretty pleased with these, though the camera seems to have made them much more blue than in life... ah well.
