Ok, now that I have way more AT-43 then I even could need (minus trying for a primarchload but that is a story for another day) I am now shifting focus onto terrain. The figures came with Cargo Boxes, short walls, a couple high walls and I picked up a couple of bunkers. Most of the hills etc I already own could be used but buildings and roads I do not have. So I am looking to start with Roads. Next I will move into buildings.


I am looking for advise on what to avoid or what workes real well.

Please I can use the input.

It's an interesting goodie from a gamers' standpoint and a business standpoint -- I'm tempted to buy more -- just as I am tempted to buy more miniatures...  But I still haven't actually built anything.

OTOH, if you need a lot of 28mm buildings that look nice for relatively little fuss... this looks good.

Pacific Sky Games' Warcore buildings is my immediate reaction.  They're plain, but that's a good thing, right?  The price is definitely right, as I can barely *make* foamcore buildings for what they're charging.

For ruined buildings, I'd highly recommend Amera Plastic Mouldings (even if he can't spell "moldings" correctly   ).  Great inexpensive vacuformed terrain at a very good price!

I've also been looking at PSG's Warcore buildings, but they seem to be out of most of them.  I hope that isn't permanent.

Another great option, although not as affordable as that from PSG and Amera, is Flying Tricycle's laser-cut wood buildings, including a stackable unit that you can unstack in order to fight from floor to floor.  Beautiful stuff;  my FLGS has some of their older fantasy stuff painted up for use in exhibition games.

Litko Aero also does buildings, but they're more a modern look.  They also have their catwalk/platform system, which might let you put sky bridges between buildings.

I may be off-base, home-brew terrain, buildings, and game surfaces can be fun too.

Sorta like to buy figs and books and stuff myself. I try to keep some scrounged materials (by the tub and shelf full) just in case I get the itch to scratch-build terrain.
