Hi all

I'm kinda new on the board & have recently got back into Epic after many years out of the game.

I'm currently in the process out painting up my Chaos army which seems to have grown somewhat of recent weeks. The army is being played using the Black Legion list. I've also been playtesting some homemade rules for the 4 Daemon Primarchs, if anyone would like a copy just PM me.

So without further ado here's some of the bits I've been working on recently

Nurgle Formation (Mortarion was standing on for a Daemon Prince at the time of this shot & has since been replaced with circa 88-92 era nurgling)

I like the double headed Warplord idea a lot and your painting looks great. Can I see Mortarion a bit closer please?.. are those tentacles coming from under his cloak or is it just the tail and my eyes playing tricks?

With regards to Mortarion he's based up to be on bubbling slime & the tentacles are erupting from the base, although now I wish I had done them from under his cloak

One of my major problems is my modelling/painting ADD, I'm always starting something in the midlle of something else. So to remedy this and actually paint the entire army I'm painting a formation at a time.

Man, this is great stuff Couchmonster. I think Mortarion looks the best I've ever seen him. I'll be loaning that tentacle idea off you too if you don't mind... and a few others besides too.
