And, yes, the project is still going on.  *laugh*  We've got Cadian/Guard pics, Chaos Marine pics... now we just need some Cultists and Ulthwe pics to round things out.

Not just yet, if I'm honest I think I'm gonna be spacing some of the WIP's out a bit more, try to get more done on the pic before showing you guys the progress.  :;):  :p

Here's more progress, I don't want Warhead thinking I don't like him!  :p



Did some more work to the main dude and also started to fill out the guys in the background - also tweaked some of their poses.

8 hours so far!

Peter and Randy... The two men who really made Raiders look as good as it did.  You two inspire me and I can't WAIT to see this next book in print.  

Chroma, you qre dang lucky to be working with these guys.  They are like machines who will churn out art for you until their gears seize up.

12hrs into this pic so far - gotta be the longest I've ever spent on a pic I reckon!!



This close up shows what I've been concentrating on the most - the lasgun! Oh, and the background guys too.

13hrs and 10mins so far.



Right, I've done a lot more tweaking. Added more guys in the background to make it look like a company level attack rather than just Johnny Guardsman versus the world. Also added grit, grass, worked on the mega-reflective bayonet and cleaned up some of the main dudes lines. AND I've also made the just-shot guy actually look injured rather than asleep on his feet!  :laugh:

The end is almost in sight, I can almost taste it!....  :sus:

Very nice... I hate to ask, though... what happened to the weapons the casualties were carrying?

I did think about that - maybe adding the shadowy silhouette of a CSM? But that's crazy talk!!!
