I'm interested in seeing the results, i'm a space hulk fan myself.
Got space hulk 1, deathwing, genestealer, and space hulk 2 boxes. Also i've got something like 30 metal terminator to paint (including good old grey knights), and lots of stealers (2 box of new ones, + a lot of the olds).

Here is what i've painted already:

Old Plastic termis:

The big cad:

A crimson fist librarian:

A test model:

Leviathan genestealers:

and a crimson fist heavy flammer:

I have to finish the command squad, with the assault canon, a normal marine and the captain !

i'm using this also in 40k, so that's why they've got bases with grass. I'll make some stealers & marines space hulk only with cool bases.

Very nice!  I only have the original one-piece "lump" Termies, but I did paint them up to a wargaming standard, and then based them and the 'Stealers on Champ Industries high-tech bases (pic below), as I don't play 40K.  I'll post some pics when I get home tonight.

Funny, Space Hulk seems to be the one game which I've heard least people complain about - never, in fact!  8v)

I currently have four sets of first edition, one set of Genestealer, one of Deathwing and one of second edition... and a bag full of Genestealers!  8v)

Nothing beats it for a quick afternoon game, and I needed the boards for Advanced Space Crusade.  :oh:

Here's what those high-tech bases look like:

Whoa... check this auction out:

Massively insane Space Hulk auction

$470 for an unpunched 1st Ed. Space Hulk??  That's just nuts.  Nuts, I say.

Thanks Javelin98, I needed a good laugh and that made me LMAO.

Who in their right mind would pay that much for a basic set with no extras?

Nice mini's. I really ought to get round to spacehulking again.
This is the beginning ideas for a project I'm working on:

The squares are 42mm on a side, so that modern termi base fit in them.

The future changes are going to be: Seperate wall sections so that the whole feel of a hulk can be the same, therefore there will be an assortment of different hulk types.
Drop-in floorplates to match the wall sections.
Many more varied pieces.
Some limited 2 level sections possibly.
Doors.
Interesting gubbinz to add detail and atmosphere.
Full set of counters, markers, dice etc...

Thought you might be interested in this Jav, given SG stuff is on your site.

I picked up the Guncrawl rules a couple of weeks ago:

http://www.ebblesminiatures.com/shop/gu ... llgame.php

It comes with a tile system that's very nicely done.  I also picked up the Ambient Elements prop sets.  I'm planning on printing them out a 50% and using GZG New Israelis and Xenoforms for a Space Hulk influenced Guncrawl game.

I picked up the Guncrawl tiles as well for the exact same reason :-)

Nice. I'm hoping to get some tiles done over the holidays. The nice thing about 15mm is 14 pages ought to get me 4 sets of tiles.

Ebbles' stuff is very nice, I agree!  Even though I'm still planning on getting the Litko set, I think those Ambient Elements will come in handy for making all the crates, barrels, equipment, etc.  I'm not that good with folding paper, but with some wood blocks and Avery full-page self-adhesive mailing label sheets, I'll be good to go!

Does the Guncrawl game come with those bugs they show?

They're not included with the rules. However, the small version and the large version of the aliens are included in 2 of the Ambient Elements packs as bonuses.

Those full size Avery labels were what I was planning on using for the tiles. I was going to stick them to black poster board. For the props I figured 32 pound resume paper ought to be good enough for 15mm.

I'll post picks if I get any done.

Okay, I went ahead and bought the Litko stuff I outlined on the previous page.  Sadly, this sets back my progress in saving up for a 10mm Glock by another couple months, but such is the way of it.

I think I'll go ahead and download the Ebbles cargo bay set for making barricades and such.  Then I'll need to paint and prep this whole thing and I can take some pics.

*sigh*  I need a government bailout.  If anyone cares to contribute to the Javelin98 Wildlife Fund, I accept cash, Paypal, and prime rib.
