I have the B+B details for the place we stayed last year and am happy to phone and book on our behalf.

For anyone else who's interested it's a B+B literally five minutes walk from the venue/town centre (such as it is in Mansfield....) an is pretty cheap (about £25/night fr a single room with breakfast).  It's not the Ritz but it's clean.

The rules pack doesn't seem to be downloading from the Dragon Slayers sight,is there anything new added we should know about or is it the usual rules pack.

Dave,

I shall send around an email asking for army lists next weekend. When I do that I shall include the rules pack.

No there isn't that much different; the painting and gaming scores have changed but nothing to do with army design.

Thanks for the offer Andy but I am going to have to travel up on the Friday and will probably arrive quite late. I assume you guys will just be booking in for the Saturday evening, because of that I think I had better contact them in person could you post the detaiils of the B&B here or email me.

Grrr... I can't make that weekend, already booked a trip to Leeds for a quite evening of bridge, or was that bar hopping debauchery - I get the two confused.

Tis very annoying that I've not once made the short trip to Mansfield - I only live in Nottingham.

Hope it's a good fun. If you'd like to borrow the (unpainted) Old Crow stuff I had at Open War I'm sure we could arrange someone to collect it from me - depending on how desperate for scenery you are.

Ah, it seems I am going to be late for the first game, as the earliest I can get to Nottingham train station is 08:56 and Mansfield is then another train getting me to the station at 09:57 (there's no train until 09:26).
So too late to play that round? No drop armies I can play against? :)

If its too late sadly I may as well have a lie in :(

Everythings printed off, the 1st round random draw has been completed (wouldn't bother getting up to early Matt A  :) ) and I'm already to go!
