Beautiful mini.  :wow:   What's wrong with calling it a Bison?

I like it....it looks like it's from Tron.

The Buddha's cool too.  Skittle looks too plasticy.

We get IRN-BRU.  Not a patch on Bundaberg Ginger Beer.

:oo:  That's new, better than the Bru... then it must be true ambrosia. Good to know the Bru has traveled the globe.

WMN?..  :oo:  You are a bit of a strange dued.

Yeah, well, funny story there. The whole credit crunch is my fault, actually. I was walking through the Economy Master Control building a couple of months ago, and accidentally leaned on the big "Credit Crunch ON/OFF" button, and then walked out without telling anybody.

Whoo, that feels better. My conscience has really been bothering me about that lately. It feels good to tell someone.

I was wondering what happened.  That makes more sense than what they've been saying in the news.  (The writer of this post happens to be humming "Free Fallin" by Tom Petty while watching the DJIA tank.

So if one were to use said Bison in Epic (hypothetically) which unit would it be best proxy in people's opinions?

Add a hull mounted weapon and you've got a Basilisk assuming that barrel can elevate.

Great stuff o'man.

My own recommendation is a Conqueror - you know, the fast moving tank with the shorter ranged gun.

The main cannon is obviously the battle cannon, and the little missile-pack thingy on the turret can count-as the lascannon.

In the source material the weapon is some sort of particle cannon or nuclear pellet gun. There's no ammo, and the cut-away view of the cannon shows an accelerator assembly. The firing effects in the game are definately projectile though, and not beam.

If you don't mind me saying so Otterman I don't think I would use them for IG at all. You could use them for LatD Chaos home-grown Khorne Cultist tanks with the minimum of fuss. But I'm thinking more towards Squats as there are in NetEpic a few newly introduced tanks and IFV's that need suitable minis. (Ironshield and Ironhammer) I think this could be what I'm looking for.

Looks fantastic Otterman, definitely has the look of a more modern MBT look about it though, especially when viewed next to the Basilisk.

Forgive my ignorance but what source material is this from?

This really is an incredible piece of work, O-man.
Seriously, you should do a range of tanks, and get them off to a metal caster.
A whole new career awaits...

Reaver

Well, I was asked and answered what the IG proxy would be. I think a better choice would be, as you say, a 'pre-contact' human population with its own tech base, counted-as LatD.

Either that or a previously unseen vacuum enabled wing of the IG.

The source material is from a Japanese video game called "Nectaris", or "Military Madness" in the US. Here's some of my prior discussion: http://www.tacticalwargames.net/forums....ectaris

The second half of the first mold has been poured.

Mold looks good so far. Test cast will be tomorrow after I take Bella back to her treacherous mother.
