I really like the progress on the Abbatoir of Death, not so keen on the Orb though. I think the whole thing could be a bit more refined. What kind of card are you using for the Abbatoir?

The card for the Abattoir is actually from a box no thicker than you would get from a pack of cereal... go figure...
I think the reason I was able to do it is more to do with the glue I've been using lately. It's Gel Super Glue. It doesn't pour out, you squeeze it out like toothpaste but in a very fine nozzle like normal superglue so you get good control and the stickability is just as good.

I need to find something for the tentacle/tendrils underneath (Tyranid Sprues again!) and I would like to try to make it more like the 40K Monolith on the top somehow. I have just the perfect crystal for it.

But Erik Chaos Androids are just easier but not really important. Look at the Raiders Necrons I wish I had before starting. Orks are every bit as good and far more common. I would prefer to use some Chaos Androids for Pariahs and my Orks for Warriors without any moding and then mod some Ork Immortals just like some of the Raiders articles.

Ok, the Orb...

How about I cut the bum off it and remove the head and somehow come up with a frame for the orb something like this...

Hm, that's a thought. But then I also want some more Baneblades...

How about cutting of both bum and replace the scorpion-tail with it. And that moved to the top of the "bum", thus reaching further around the sphere.

Now you're talkin'.  How about some thing strips of plastic wrapping around the orb from the back... some sort of supports or containment mechanisms. The thin plasticard is very bendable. And then you could put gubbins on the strips.

Ahh, O'man, I see I have now got those mammalian nipples ridged...

Yes, a half circle of plasti-card (I have none) or something similar coming from around the back is what I have in mind.

Sorry Erik but I have other plans for the Destroyers Bum for another possible model.
But then I also want some more Baneblades...

The bum-ectomy has been performed. I have found a likely piece of plastic (20x20mm Inf base Sprue) and bent it in the best shape I am able (not glued on yet). It's 50/50 wither the patient will pull through or not... what do you honestly think?..

Hm... That sprue bit look a bit as if embracing the sphere. Not sure if hugging is what I think of when thinking Necron... But if it showed a bit more distance and also more spherical it might work?
