For some reason the desire to finish one of my epic armies has seized me.  So after 16+ hours of painting the core of the army is complete.

The core is 4 "Platoons" of Marines and their transports.  12 Tactical Squads and 4 Devastor Squads.  

So as Vanvlak always says "...Pictures?"  

Dark Pictures but shows them all

Awsome stuff. Really makes me want to get to work on my own dormant DA project again :cool:

I'm not updated on current DA fluff: What's the situation regarding the "official" paint scheme? Are bolters still red (christmas marines) or how is it? I've also seen some painted with black weapons. Or is it company specific?

Same thing goes for the shoulder emblems: I've seen some in red and some in white both look good though obviously white ones are more easily visible in 6mm scale.

I don't know if red Boltguns are official, but mine were going to be black regarless of fluff.  In that case I take the L4 view.

There will be a large bike formartion as part of the army and I will add pictures here as I complete them.  For now the terminators are on the work bench.
