Problem is that all of them has to be fan based. They can't be profit based. Not even break-even profit based.

Ok, why am I saying this that everyone already knows?

Because I wouldn't like to see Moscovian, and others, end up in court.

I'd much rather see GW forming a foundation that takes care of these games, where the (non-profit and non-producing) foundation is given the IP and free reins within it's frame.
A foundation goverend by GW and fans together and with the actual IP base considered and split of where it can.

Utopia.
Given different laws in different countries. Their IP is the best GW has. They ain't gonna share.

Off course it is Utopia!  :vD

Now then, back on track.
If we can make various FANtastic under this umbrella of charity it sound swell.
My only concern is that it's only valid around Moscovian, right?

I wouldn't say I'm the only game in town, but given the costs associated with the undertaking -not to mention the headaches- I'm your best point man IMO.

Here is where I think we need to focus: GW is not producing booklets or miniatures.  We are making fan supplements and quite frankly we're in a better position to publish balanced, well thought out lists and material that are appealing to the Epic community.  The books are focusing on existing model ranges, previous model ranges, and conversions of existing models.  These efforts are going to go forward until we're told not to.

If we continue to do things the way I've prescribed I think GW will continue to ignore us.  I personally will not allow anything to go through Raiders & Crusaders that doesn't outright support GW and the hobby.

Well sorry to hear, as you very aptly put it, "No good deed goes unpunished!" ...  But thank you again for putting it all together for us Mosy ... of course once you get involved with governmental agencies like the IRS ... well you all know how well the Gov't did with the current financial situation ...  Soup lines any one ...

TRC, other lines are just fine.  I just may not be familiar with them so I'd have to take them on a case-by-case basis.  If you have anything specific rolling around in your head, PM me and I'll be happy to discuss.

Moscovian

I have yet to fully read Raiders as I am slowly getting back into Epic. But what I have seen I was really impressed with. I hope this can lead to more fan produced supplements for BFG/Epic.

I would love to see more variant BFG fleet lists for Imperials, Chaos SM and Orks.

Cheers

James

Just as a reminder to anyone interested in creating an Epic supplement (or who is involved in a current project), the countdown waits for no man.  My account with America's Press will expire in 3 1/2 years.  Siege and Raiders are two books, but there is still room for three more to be printed.

Now you may think I am silly for worrying about such things with 40 months left, but I know how long some of these projects take.  Simply take this as my (our?) encouragement to keep your projects moving forward so that the supplements can continue to come out.  Post here or PM me with any questions or comments.

Any possibility that Raiders & Crusaders, inc.
would be in a position to print the published
NetEpic Gold RuleBook & Army supplements, were they pre-paid?

It will require Primarch discussing the matter with Moscovian,
and a bit of co-ordination (just a bit :sulk: ),
but I'd quite like to see it happen- :Ikonforums:

It depends on a great many things, but I am open to the suggestion.  I'll contact Primarch and see if he is interested.  Thanks!!
