I don't know if anyone here plays LotR - it's something my kids do from time to time. The thing that annoyed me most about it was every time they wanted to use new figures, I had to buy a new sourcebook to get the profiles.
But it turns out GW have all the profiles online as pdfs, so no more buying sourcebooks for me! Here's a link, if anyone needs it:

I still tend to buy the LOTR sourcebooks (although not yet bought newest Mordor book) as they contain more info on background, tactics & painting etc. But those PDF Profile sheets are useful- I have already saved to my hard drive- I just need to get my printer working!
