Is there an option that will enable the "Last post" icon in the Search results?

I use the New Posts page all the time but it doesn't have the "Last Post" link that all the other pages do and so I have to manually find the new content in each topic

Any way to fix this?

I don't. I use new posts. That way I can skim threads I normally wouldn't go to.

I get a much broader view that way.

I am afraid not. The options available for the searches are: 'turn searches on/off'!  :D

I do plan on moving to a slightly different board software with the server move, so all rules are subject to change after this event. Remind me and I will take another look when we are relocated.

Please say it is SMF. Or something that supports RSS.

I am afraid that the software is dependant on the database we already have. I have put in a request for RSS with the developers - just for you!  :;):

Not really. There are converters for message board systems

SMF has one for ikonboard

http://www.simplemachines.org/download/?converters

The Lead Adventure admins converted their old board over to SMF using a convertor.

I find that often using new posts I miss stuff, it doesn't show up.
