Now I know why they used to have all those banner poles come with the square stands 
Nice work L-4 - I agree about the colours- much better than the brighter blue. The shading came out particularly well. Who's the big important-looking chap on the left in the 2nd photo?

Thanks Van ! The big guy is from the E:A Character Pack. He's the Battalion Cdr, and the decal on his back banner is from the old 40K SM decal pack. And the UM Flags are from the SM1 game. The smaller Medic flags, etc. I made myself with more SM Decals ...

Mate, they are looking good. I like the old SM TO@E, I used it to create my Iron Warriors, using the Battalion format with companies and supporting units with a transport pool.

TO&E = Table of Organization & Equipment
Used in military organizations to establish how many personnel and what equipment a unit is authorized. Number authorized doesn't always reflect number on hand.

TO&E is like an Army lists. And the SM1 Templates are like a TO&E. And as Con pointed out, no Circus colors on my stuff ! As usual Wombat is Spot on ! 
Next up Salamanders in Jungle Green then Imperial Fists in Panzer Yellow.
