Greetings all!

This is a post to announce an "open call" for photos for the upcoming "Black Crusade" supplement.

Following in the mighty footsteps of Moscovian and his "Raiders" project, this is an attempt to put together a cool book detailing some of the forces that battled in the recent 13th Black Crusade: Black Legion, Lost and the Damned, Cadian Imperial Guard, and Ulthw? Eldar!

I'm looking to collect both individual unit shots, for inclusion in the datafax boxes, as well as action/battle shots showing the various forces at war.  The higher the resolution, the better!

Well...i own no camera which is good enough for close up pictures. Bu ti intend to buy one in the future. So in whichtime-frame do youneed the pictures? I guess it will take several month until i have enough money for a good digi-cam.

Chroma, count me in for pictures of Ulthwe mate, maybe some action shots against Iron Warriors as well. What sort of time frame are you looking at and are you after any colour of background to work with.

The time frame is probably a couple of months, unless there's an early rush of submissions!  *laugh*

For individual units, I'd like sharp close-ups at 300dpi and on a neutral or white background, so they're easy to mask/crop; probably want that for "small group" shots or "examples", e.g., "Ulthw? Aspect Warriors".

For "action shots", focusing on the battle or formation, without any visible "gaming room" stuff is what I'm looking for.

Sweet, do you need me to start painting mass amounts of cadians like the 40k city fight/eye of terror scheme or the 8th cadian like in the guard codex?

I can provide some Black Legion Shots and Legion of the Lost and Dammed Shots, I also have a heap of photos of CAL001's Ulthwe both as units and action shots against Lost and the Dammed.

How do you want photos to be given to you?

Well that would look sweet, unfortunately there's been no developlment, that I'm aware of, of a 13th Coy Space Wolves army list.

300dpi (or better) .png or .jpg files.  Depending on the number, email, or I can set up some online filespace to collect them.

I would be able to photo my Cadian IG army for this, for army shots or detail shots (Unit datafaxes).

My colourscheme is the green/yellow of the Cadian 8th.

As for timeframe, there's not much point putting out a supplement before the Chaos reviews are finished, so we have some time for sure.

Very true... but it would be sweet to have the majority of layout and photos done *before* that, so it could be a rapid deployment afterward... *laugh*
