I'd like to get some stats on this thing. Although it won't necessarily get into the army list it should definately have a datafax in there, in the appendix if nothing else.

My first thought is the question of the bomber status. Does it warrant it or could it possibly be classified as a support craft like the Tau Manta?

No way is it a support craft. This isn't a big skimmer that hangs over the battlefield, it's a traditional bomber, just a very big one!

When the model first came out, I proposed:

Speed: Bomber
Armour: 5+ (Reinforced Armour)

Weapons:
3x Autocannons 45cm AP5+/AT6+
Bombs 6BP Ignore Cover.

Damage Capacity 4
Critical: Suffers an extra DC of damage.

Points: 450

0-1 Per 3000 points.

Hena suggested that the beast should be 550pts, and lose the 0-1 per 3k restriction.

I said that it should have AA on its guns in that case.

TRC dropped in at the end of the thread and added weapon arcs to the three autocannons and made them 'twin' Autocannons, as I'd missed that they were twin weapons:

Speed: Bomber
Armour: 5+ (Reinforced Armour)
Weapons:
Twin Autocannons 45cm AP4+/AT5+/AA6+ Fixed Forward
Twin Autocannons 30cm AP4+/AT5+/AA6+ Left Arc
Twin Autocannons 30cm AP4+/AT5+/AA6+ Left Arc
Bombs 6BP Ignore Cover.
Damage Capacity 4
Critical: Suffers an extra DC of damage.
Points: 525

In summation, I think the above are a good set of stats.

Finally, even if you only put it in the collector's section... Give it a points value.
