Hi!
Perhaps, but I think with so many moderators it should be easy to control.

Hi!
Most epic lists, including the epic ones, have suffered from this before. The Epic list actually has membership by apporval beforehand to curtail this. I haven't done this on the net epic list, but I have banned several e-mails due to abuse. It hasn't gotten out of hand, but then again epic is a small crowd of people.

That is true. There are too few of us to have many abusers.

Hmmm.. me too, but I guess its one benefit of the epic community being quite small that we shouldn't get too many ..

Hi!
I think what we should hope for is more "commited" players, since there will probably be a slew of impulse gamers who will join then move on to something else. I hope at least some of those will stay for the "long haul".

Yeah, I have to agree with you ther Primarch, but remember one thing....
Some people join and then move on, equals lots of cheap epic they want to sell to us *more dedicated* players!!!

Yeah, but the question is 'how' are they going to get new blood into the game? There is no real advertising for this kind of thing. Are they expexting to convert 40k players or some kid to stumble across it in the local hobby shop? Sure ther are banners, posters and cool displays you can send along with your product but, that doesn't cut it. Magazine ads, maybe. It will be difficult. Word of mouth is probably the best way for this kind of thing. But, the words haven't been too good. Also, a word of mouth marketing strategy takes time. Games seem to be pulled before they have a chance to take off. It is hard to get new gamers when most gamers have switched to or were born into the computer. AHHHH! I'm rambling again. I'll shut up now.
