Staying top the On Topic stuff, Here's 3 shots of my Cityboard in its fledgling state. All the buildings are on seperate bases so can be fitted in in a variety of setups. Both the Tank Factories can also be removed from their 16inch square base if required.

And in case anybody is wondering, I'm a LONG way from being rich enough to afford 2 tank factories and a cathedral, but I have been very lucky in various trades & in painting for Fanatic / FW

If anyone wants to see my Rohirrm or 40K guard, I've got a couple of shots showing them too ?

And, of course, I should mention my Epic Grey Knights / Demon hunters. I'm working with the F/W 6-part marine kits to convert a small display unit of unique grey knight models. Combined with some Demonhunters characters & some Vehicles converted for me by Seekermeng, they're going to take until NEXT UK Gamesday to complete, but should look pretty cool!
These pics are of the first prototype conversion I did. Some details such as gun barrels hadnt been finished off at this point, but it gives an idea - trying to get really dynamic poses in this scale is quite interesting!
Pardon the poor pics. When I've completed a few more I'll get some clearer ones, but I found it hard to get a clear shot with all the metallics!

Ask and ye shall recieve.......

I have another 30-40 troopers awaiting painting & a hardened veteran squad of old metal characters to replace the more reent cadians shown in the pics. I've also got another 3 "eggs on legs" sentinels, but one is missing the feet & they're prooving a real paint to replicate ?

Great, thanks. It makes me want to dig out the old Land Speed with a Guard crew... and I am sure that I have another twenty or some plastic Guardsmen somewhere... and I know that I have a Tarantula with Guard crew as well... and a badly painted 'egg on legs' that could be stripped... interesting.
What will happen to this force? And what on Earth are those missile launchers?

They'll probably suffer a huge run of defeats as I play for fun & to have a good laugh amongst my local club which is full of die-hard beards who have lost the concept of "game"....
Those Missilte Launchers are just that - Missile Launchers. The H/Ws in my normal platoons are the shoulder mounted ones for cost reasons, but I'm using Rapiers as Lascannon in my H/W teams, and as soon as I can find the models, old style tarantulas as my Heavy bolters / autocanon. Alongside them, the normal guard Missile Launchers seemed wrong, so I hacked together those as larger proxies.
Crew are in dire need of a 2-hour touch-up in the painting depot though, they were seriously rushed for my first game along with half the army!
Only problem is that funds have run out, so I'm currently using 3 spare troops with shoulder - mounted Heavy Bolters for my fire support team (far left front of the pics) until I can track down (& afford!)some bolter weilding tarantulas

..Wow.. fantastic stuff TS, your Guard look excellent, and I'm also really liking that Harridan..
At the moment I'm painting my Eldar tanks I got at GamesDay, as well as starting my fledgling Necromunda gang (Goliaths) which is quite fun...

Are you a 40K player? I have been looking for an excuse to collect my Tyranid force in full. Interested in teaching me the rules?

Well, I'm currently (you've guessed it) painting some 40k Dark Angels. Also a few Sisters of Battle, and waiting to get money for buying some parts for an incoming conversion of Seraphim VSS with 2 Plasma Pistols. Also I'm re-painting some Dark Eldar miniaures from the boxed 40k starter set and converting up a few unusual ones. I'm also going to finish a scrach-built Dark Angels Vindicator in a while, currently it's missing details, and finally get furher progress on my second scrach-built Dreadnought, which is a grand underaking in itself, with rotating waist, exchangeable weapon arms and a banner pole that can be detached to install a Smoke launcher.
And of course, I'll also have to find ime for making some more work on EA Sisters of Battle proxies.
