Tas,
So, to sum up the thread (correct me if I'm mistaken, please):
- There is no "veteran's category" any more...
AND
- A player can ENTER as many categories as he wishes, but can WIN ONLY ONE as should specify a list of winning preferences should that player win more than one category. If a player wins mor than one category, he recives the prize for his highest winning preference and one of the runners-up will win the prize in a lower preference category.

I will just add that I will be contacting people who have entered a number of categories at a later date, but before the close, to sort out their preference list (although this can easily be chanegd if they suddenly enter a new category). Also, I will add a web page with peoples preference lists on them so that you can check that they are correct before the close of the competition.

Right then, time is half up and only two months to go until entry closure date. 
Offerings are rather sparce to non-existent at the moment, but one hopes that is because people are in a frenzy of painting at home. ?
May your brushes never fray and your paint pots never dry out!

Agreed. I might even be persuaded to put paint to brush for this...
Depending on how much time and how successful the attempt is. It would be great to have a fair number of entries for this. I would like to make it an annual event, but it needs your support guys.

my entries are in progress so mine will be more later than sooner. My main aim is for a battle force and then a titan entry but I will see how much time I have.

hello, some rule questions for the ruleboys about the competition :
- How many photos are allowed per entries ? if there is a maximum number (i suppose so), is it the same for all categories ? How many photos can i use for a BattleForce ?
- What IS a battleForce ? any mix of unit ? 1000 Pts or more of units ? any other number of points ? Will a Battle company of marines plus some vehicules fit in ?
- will tufskull and carl from dropship participate ? Just to know if i have even the slightest chance ?

I am undecided whether to enter or not. Even if we do participate, with the current competition rules (& good they are too!), if either of us is lucky enough to win, we can't win more than 1 catagory.

My aim was certainly not to prevent you from entering... i will participate anyway; i was just curious...
I hope many people will enter the competion before the end... I imagine many are still in moddelling/painting stage.

Sorry about the delay in replying, but I have been away. To answer your other questions;
(a) there is no max number of pics, but excess ones will be trimmed away by Cybershadow when he puts together the gallery for voting
(b) There is deliberately no specifics on how large a Battleforce entry must be, because I wanted it to be for organisations under ANY epic rules system. The only specific requirement is that it is comprised of:
(i) groups of complete units
(ii) Those units must include both vehicles and infantry
(iii) Optional inclusion of one large model (up to 3 superheavy vehicles)
If you want more specific guidance pls PM me.

Yes, the plan is to build a full scale gallery. The first picture or two is on line, and the rest will follow as soon as I get the 30 minutes free to get it done. As soon as I can, I promise.
As for extra pictures, I think that we should keep pictures restricted to entries, as they may be used for voting. However, it would be fantastic if you could send any pictures (extras or the ones from the competition) to Chris, to include in the De'Aynes Epic Guide.
