I'm still waiting to see if I get off the waiting list!

Otherwise is Andy using his guard/warlord army? :) That wouldn't be my top pick!

Nathan Hoole - Dragon Slayers
Chris Steel - TNG (am I getting my Chris's mixed up?)
Tim Hunt - Mercenary
Matthew Otter - Dragon Slayers
Bill Ely - 1st Co Vets
Joe Jephson - Dice Not Included

Rational being Tim always has something go wrong in game 4 or 5 and misses out by a couple of points (maybe people just run the clock down on him? :) ), Chris, if its tennis playing Chris, thrashes me and if I don't put Matt high up there he may hold it against me in future umpiring discussions!

Different Chris I think. Chris Steel is from TNG and plays Orks most of the time.

Well I'm flattered by peoples confidence in me, however Chris is correct, this is the one tournament that I have never won, be it facing Tau & Siegemasters, 20 Fighta-Bombas or slow Chaos Marines.

There is also a tradition that the leader at the end of the first day has to wear a Yellow t-shirt on the second day to jinx them. To prove how poor my luck has been I never been in this position either.

So I predict:

1. Nathan H
2. Joe J
3. Me
4. Steve G
5. Matt O
6. Damian B

Special mention will go to Bill for not bringing his Siegemasters and there will be a shift in the force as all the bad luck building up over the two days realises that Rug isn't there for the final game and transports itself to Glastonbury where a freak thunder storm will destroy the grand total of 1 tent and a recently gained phone number.  :p

All the lists have been checked and approved by MattO.

The breakdown is as follows:

3x Imperial Guard
3x Eldar
2x Black Legion
2x Space Marine
1x Ork
1x Feral Ork

lists may begin to appear in the WPS CC thread.

On a side not should we start a new thread for the fantasy discussion so as not to hijack this thread further?

Does anyone have a detailed breakdown of the GW GT last year? I can only find the overall results.

2007 tournament page is now complete.

Each tournament has as much detail as I can find on the web, if people have more please let me have it.

I've also included updated tables for players, clubs and races.

UK EpicA Championship if your interested.

Great work Dave, but I think your link in the last post has too many http's.

Also I am probably just getting confused here and I know its all a bit of fun, but doesn't the +4pts for using a different army only get applied when you get into a scoring position (one of the top six) and not just in general.

Fixed the link.

As to the 4 points I read that you get that regardless of position. Guess we need Gavin to make a call. Gavin?

Yup - 4 points for trying out a different race regardless of position. But you only get it once per race - so if you go from race "A" to "B" and back, you only get 4 points.

The intention is to encourage an even mix of races per tournament and overall. However it also allows the dunderheads like me to get some points on the board - and people like TRC to get lots of points :D

(I suppose we could always award an end-of-season prize for the player fielding the most armies :) )

The good thing about this is that it is encouraging me to finish off some armies. I think that everybody that brings an experimental army to the London Sunday should get 4 points even if just using proxies. lots of points and lots of people onto the score board.
