I think Butcher would have a hard time in Mangled Metal. His feat is nice but until it activates, his focus is best used for himself. Now eButcher is another story.

That's what Berserkers are for...  minimizing focus used by the battlegroup.

The biggest problem with eButcher is the variable focus, since I always manage to roll low the turn I need all the focus I can get.

Berserkers have lower than usual MAT, which means Butcher needs to boost them. No, Berserkers are best with Karchev. Best jack for Butcher would be the Devastator and that's mainly because it's a delivery system for Butcher to get into melee with his opponents by protecting him on the approach and doesn't really need any boost to hit with its RoD attack.

With eButch, as long as you do the drives, it will help you minimize the need for focus for jacks which is great. Yes, you will roll low a lot of times but that's why he has those rage drives for his jacks.

My Khador arrived! Whipped them together this morning, wash them in the evening and prime them tomorrow. Then it is time for all-weekend fevered painting orgies. Hopefully in monday I have at least one (preferredly whole battlebox) ready.

I have been thinking some very strange way to paint them. So they can be either good, bad or ugly. That is the risk of "never before tried technics". :)


Would every Rain of Death hit be with additional damage dice on Butchers feat turn?


Oh by the way, what would be good way to use Behemont? With which ?caster?

Only one RoD attack per turn anyway, unless you have 2 or more Devs.

Vlad and Old Witch are best candidates for using Big B.

Nice protectors of Motherland, Chroma! Shiny.


My Battlebox is painted, but not based so soon they are ready to be photographed. They came up quite nicely. "Tall, dark and gruesome". And I ordered Karchev, when it arrives I shall do couple of 350 MM games with Big K, Juggie and Destroyer.

My Khador shopping list is now: Kodiak and Berserker. That will give me manly 406 points of Karchev, Juggs, Kodiak and Berserker. Then some mechaniaks.

And then what? Widowmakers so that at least somebody could shoot? Greylords to give little clouds? Or even more manlines: Man-O-War-O-Matic! Ah, taktiks, you avoid me!
