So far i know it seems that the Skitarii don't use Chimeras...

I don't think you can claim that Skitarri don't use Chimeras simply because they weren't in Dark Apostle.

GW has put an AM army up on the web:

http://us.games-workshop.com/games....dox.htm

I think translating those doctrines are what we're after for AMTL support and Tech Guard units.

Having the troop cost as part of the Corvus pod sounds like a good idea to me.

With indirect and de-facto unlimited range, and adding +1 to hit for sustaining this looks downright vicious. Add a LasBurner, place the Blitz near Titan-suitable cover and you have a default configuration Blitzguard.

This Warlord would be extremely powerful, but 1,100 really is loads of points. The titan would certainly hurt some formations badly, but I don't think it's certain it would always do enough to be worth the points.

It would be very difficult to kill, right at the back with a laser burner, and so would effectively deny your opponent the blitz and the BTS. But given how small the rest of the AMTL army might be if it took one of these beasts, the opponent could well win by ignoring the Warlord at the back entirely.

Yes, I like that too. Could they be combat servitors to make them a bit more worth having and exciting?

This explains my thoughts as regards the Quake cannon quite well; Taking an indirect firing Quake Titan is now (almost) prohibitively expensive.

Would they be part of the titan's formation, or a seperate formation?

Hmmm part of the Titans formation sounds interesting. At last the troops in the Imperators Titan's leg bastions are supposed to protect the Titan from being boarded.

I?m sure looking forward to see Quake Titans in action, both with and without indirect fire!

Agreed. I don't see them as similar to Tech Guard in an Imperator's bastions.

Agreed as well. Once unloaded can either be picked up again or head off on their own task.

I just printed that list for first time and I try to read it properly.

First thoughts:
-5 reavers with 3 laser burners each. 3000pts (anti-nid list??)
-Ordinatus minoris with quake -> better decimator?
-no hydras :(
-I really like meltacannon stats now
-List looks like fun. but maxing things seems bad. 4 volcano warlords, 4 plasma destructor warlords, or just backing with those free weapons for cheaper titans

Tell your regular opponent not to be daft, and then undertake a series of clipping engagements, in which you'll have +4 before any dice are thrown.

-Ordinatus minoris with quake -> better decimator?

Better range, and has void shields.

Worse armour save, worse damage capacity, worse initiative, worse close combat stat, worse speed, costs more, and is easier to break.

-no hydras :(

No Hydras.

-I really like meltacannon stats now

Cheers!

-List looks like fun. but maxing things seems bad. 4 volcano warlords

Costs 950 points.

4 plasma destructor warlords

Costs 1050 points!

or just backing with those free weapons for cheaper titans

Cheaper titans == worse guns.

I think that reaver list has flaws but in some occasions that is quite easy wins.

Better range, and has void shields.

Worse armour save, worse damage capacity, worse initiative, worse close combat stat, worse speed, costs more, and is easier to break.

It is much more durable to for example shadow swords, scorpions and other TK weapons due to shields. It has downsides too, but I think it is quite powerful and I have nice conversion ideas on my head too.

-List looks like fun. but maxing things seems bad. 4 volcano warlords

Costs 950 points.

4 plasma destructor warlords

Costs 1050 points!

Which are not bad for such huge amount of firepower.

No Hydras.
I like hydras, and I would really like to see them on titan list...

I see no reason to include hydras. What do they have to do with titans at all?
