Does anyone ever take a Warlord Titan with 4x Rocket Launchers? (No CLP)

I've been playing with the prospect of using a titan with 2x MRLs and 2x Gatling Blasters, not sure how to feel about it yet as I've not gotten many chances to try it out.

My bug hordes wouldn't enjoy a configuration like that.  Even word would be 2 mega-bolters instead of the gattlings.

Are these Rocket Launchers at 3BP?  If so, taking four might be cool for placing an automatic 3 Blast markers on enemy formations, preferable more than one formation at a time.

Does anyone actually use MRL's on a regular basis?

I've found them to be rather weak..especially in comparison to the 2 x MRL combination vs 2 x Quake or 2 x Gatling Blaster configurations.

Though I must admit...I am partial to this Warlord configuration when facing nids...MRL x 2 in carapace mounts...Plasma Destructor and Volcano Cannon on the arm mounts...its sort of a jack of all trades..not really good at any one thing..but works well enough for me. :)

Nice Titan!

One question though....is the picture blurry because the titan is moving...or is it just a side effect of the dark green paint job (aka the L4 camo effect)? :p

E&C - that missile is from the original Titan weapons sprue- It has the old AT1 plasma missile rating. Which gives it 6 burst templates, one shot only ! But it's a Mutha of a shot !!! ?:D ? ? If you go to the Epic Resources thread, Iain/C/S posted both of my Epic Recon pics galleries. Titans are in the 3rdI link !  :;):  Wombat - it must be the combination of movement and dark green camo !      :cool:  And the fact that I took that pic a few years ago ... I should update those.   And the important thing is you want to grow up, I'm still waiting and I'm 51 !!! :O  :O

I use them, but in a support titan configuration.  Three of them and a CLP.

Good ranged satuatuation fire.  forces the enemy to spread out, so they can't mob other titans.

I am not a fan of jack configuration titans.  In my books they have to be dedicated to a job and do it really well, not kinda do a few jobs in an okay fashion
