.....like the lists, like the frontpage , like your ideas.

I am looking forward to read your stuff (and use it of course). As I am sure you need no quarreling from the sideboard I hope you will be awarded properly for your energy and time invested.

I haven't been the most motivated person lately - a lack of progress on a dragging project for a seemingly dying game had me this close --> <--- to canning the whole thing.  But one thing you guys can count on is my OCD kicking in :p .  I've gotta finish it, so...

Perhaps this will help with your motivation:

Yep keep going and take the hill soldier! It has it's own glory and will be appreciated by many irrespective of what GW does or does not do.

I'm especially looking forward to the modelling sections. :)

Mosc passed out the latest fiction revision this evening to the team... it's coming together as amongst the best 40k fiction I've read.

Make sure you check for typos in the whole Raiders project. The Book of Nemesis started from a bad place because all the typos.

Another option, that I used with the Handbook, was to just release draft versions and ask anyone out there in internet land to list erratas as they found them. I'd go as far to say that without the help of people doing that, the Handbook would never have reached an acceptable stage IMO. Of course if you already have a team working on it this may not be necessary.

Actually, the Nemesis book started badly because of one or two people who just like to pick holes in other peoples work without doing anything themselves, and couldnt find anything else to complain about.

Sorry. It really was not as bad as people implied.

True on that, the complete work of the Book of Nemesis was quite great, and I do feel some people made the issue of typos bigger then anything else in the book.

I do quantity - E&C does quality. :)  It's a yin-yang thing going on.

But thanks for the suggestions.  I may post it for others to view or ask everyone who already volunteered in some capacity to run over it with a fine toothed comb.

It's a scientific fact: No matter how much work you put into avoiding it, a few typos and other errors always seem to manage to sneak into a finished book. that's the good thing about interet based books though: fixing such things is easy and doesn't cost a fortune :p

Now tell that to SG who have lots of official PDF's online with typos.
