I believe that the necromunda situation is tempory, they have removed them for a restructure. I don't know what this will entail, but they have said they want to make sure there is a model for ever troop type in the game, so I guess Yelds will reappear.

But then it is about frigging time DRM and E/W start making starships!

haha

It would be wrong of us to leak any kind of conceptial source material from our fluff bible. Especially if it happened to be Guild starships, based around the Hellenic era.

So unfortunately we cannot start any rumours about work on Guild, Empire and Khazari fleets. In no way can we make any kind of suggestion that after playing an excess of Starmada: Admiral Edition I got kinda hooked.

I'm sorry to disappoint ;).

:D

What a pity you didn't leak any info!

ps thanks :)

You guys are so depressing.  I guess I better get that Space Marine Lander before it's too late, eh?

I was going to get some BFG but they are scything items out of the range I was interested in so no BFG for me now. Kinda depressing, but will be some other companies gain.

And yes I had better do a last SG order and get a Lander etc too.

With all this depressing stuff going around I'm glad I've just put in my order, hopefully now they'll fill it!
Thanks for the lack of info Net Epic, I had been thinking of investing in BFG but I saw a pretty picture of a couple of ships recently and I think I'll go and look the company up.  :D

Oh yeah, eBay.  It's good for a lot of things, but I really wished I'd bought that Imperial Psi-Titan when I had the chance.  They're too rich for my blood now!

I have almost given up passing these comments on.

But, from Warseer:

I spoke to Jervis today (mostly about how badly the 40K rules were presented), but raised the issue of Epic. Jervis' answer was along the lines of sorting our the rules into a 'final edition' of epic armageddon. What that means i don't know.

*sigh*

Hey,

at least Jervis didn't reply: 'Epic? What's that?'

haha

To me "final edition" sounds like wrapping up loose ends and then pulling the plug.  :(

Yes. That is most likely that. The question is not IF Epic is getting canned. It most certainly is. However it would be VERY interesting to know if any of the miniatures will remain available.

It was on that account that I spoke to Tom yesterday. We'll se a lot more info about the future plans for the EW miniatures range very soon. I figure this would be nice to know for anyone who would like to have some idea of the avaiable 6mm proxy market now and in the near future.

Even while they don't support EA they would view any fan driven effort more hostilely and set the "legal bar" much higher and in my view nitpick a lot more on it in order to stifle it on inception. NetEA due to GW's current circumstances will need to be VERY careful regarding GW's IP. They're feeling somewhat vulnerable due to their financial situation and I don't think they are feeling very "charitable" to the fan base right now.

It seems to me that this attitude (tightening monetary grasp at expense of fanbase), is the root cause of their financial trouble.
