Absolutely stunning - I love that landing pad objective - a real inspiration to make some themed objectives of my own!

This is such a cool army Reddeth, I love all the neat conversions and characterful touches you've given the army, like the Hellblade refeauling objective!  Excellent work, well done!

Wow!

Great work. I especially like the troops and the objectives.

Beautiful !
Simple schemes, but very effective. The titan with green flames is perfect, and the objectives are great.

Thanks for all the kind comments guys.

As for some closeups here are two:

The Termie Lord and some of his henchmen:

The lord character is just a termie with a head swap and sword arm borrowed from the warlord character.

The Blitz Objective in detail:

I reallty scratched through my bitz box for this one. Some bits are from the ground zero games range (landing pad, control deck, missile pod), but the bulk are just W40K bitz (defiler arm, fuel tank, etc). The lovely FW Hell Talon really finishes it off.

I've been preparing for some new additions to the army. Next up are some more rhinos for the forlorn hopes, additional daemons and some specialist infantry upgrades for the retinues. Hope to have some updates in a week or so.

Very nice work, I think the color scheme you chose really gives the whole army a great feel.  Keep up the good job.  :)

Nice one mate! Good to see them all finished up and neatly presented. I look forward to hopefully decimating them on the tabletop!  :D

Yes, they look great. Seeing these objectives has given me some inspiration for when I get home to come up with some nice themed objectives. There are so many good looking objectives getting around the community these days.

Cheers
Aaron

Hello again, I'm happy to update with some more additions to the growing force (now well over 5000 points!)

Daemonettes:

Standard GW Daemonettes to fill out my daemonic horde patiently lurking in the warp..

Chaos Infantry Reinforcements:

Some additional Raptors and another Obliterator stand to bulk out my infantry. I went with the big gun look for these Obliterators, though it's hard to see with the poor light in this picture.

More Armour:

I've converted more rhinos so the whole army can be mechanised if needed. The front rank Rhinos are for my Forlorn Hope formations and have been given dozer blades. The rear rank Rhinos are for cult marines yet to be painted. I've also converted a couple pf landraiders to use as command tanks if needed.

Defilers:

It took me ages to come up with a conversion for these beasties that was managable with the bits I had on offer. I was recently lucky enough to receive some DRM Verger minatures that were just perfect for the Torso section, as long as you like the havoc launcher look. I have cut up some old bath tub sentinels to use for the legs, glued them to a W40K track section and then added a GZG turret to the torso with some added lascannons. The head is from the old GW minotaur which used to come in the old Chaos boxsets, while the battlecannon is from the SG Griffon Mortar. The finished Defilers look suitably chunky when sitting next the other chaos vehicles.

Next up I will finish off some cult marine upgrades and the last of the lesser daemons.
