Sorry, that's what I meant.

I would actually prefer the Handbook 2008.

Me too!

The Handbook.

And I'd prefer if at least the main 'nid was allowed.  I can understand why people might object to Phase III with it being less play tested.

Ah yes, but which variant?   :D

Or should I bring my Bugs to fight your Bugs, Dave, for a *true* Deathmatch?  *laugh*

I've never fought a Bugs vs Bugs game...

Lot of cool ideas one could use... a *common* Spawning Pool!  Snagging enemy stragglers with your own Synapse creatures... wow, I'm gonna have to digest this!

I checked Time Machine's event calender and it looks like every other Saturday is available from May through the summer.  I'm leaning towards a Saturday in June. How does that work for everybody?

The first weekend in June I will probably be in Utah, after that I should be free though.

We should definitely talk to Steve or Ken when we're there next though, to see what they think.

First weekend in June is my anniversary and out as well.  But, like Dave, I am open every other weekend after that.  In fact it would probably be the bst time of the year for me to go work-wise.  End of May is usually very bad (end of our fiscal year).

Agreed. If we're not going to meet again for a few weeks, I'll make a special trip.

I just checked their calender. June 14th and 28th are available. The following Saturday is 4th of July weekend, so I'm guessing that would be bad.

Dave and I had a chat with someone at Time Machine yesterday and he was very interested in us having a tourney there. He said that it was quite possible that we wouldn't even have to charge admission.  :)  So, we could do that, or charge a nominal $5 fee which would go towards a prize for the winner.

I will, of course, keep everyone apprised when I get more information.

Yes. we're waiting to hear back from them about a spring open house, as we'd not want to do it on that Saturday (little parking).  But it looks like we can do it for from or perhaps charge $5 or so for food/prizes.

Yesterday Dave and I managed to talk to the owner of Time Machine and we were finally able to nail down a definite date. The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, June 21st. Let's try for a good turnout to show that Epic is indeed alive and kicking.

I'll be there.  Thanks for organizing this!  Can you post an address, cost, etc?
