Over in this thread on Dakka:

http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/po ... 07274.page

there is a small blurb about Epic from someone who spoke to Jervis. ?Real small.

"Epic will receive some more support, as he feels it's currently pretty under-represented."

There's an understatement right there... what kind of support could he mean?

They're probably going to re-organize the webstore to hide Epic better.

Pete is also working on a sci-fi version of Blitzkrieg Commander that will have army lists for use with some of the Epic armies as well.

Oh Yes, I saw that and saved the link. IIRC, DRM and E/W were mentioned too, and could be used with those rules, also.  And BTW, I just quicky read thru DRM's rules ... I've never played it but I think I like much of it better than E:A ...  :D

Hi!

I have been watching this since it was pointed out to me.

Any idea what a possible ETA is at this moment?

It is still in playtesting at the moment. Not sure if it is just army list testing or general testing though

To tell ya the truth, I'm very much looking forward to DRM and E/W to release their rules. After all both Doug and Tom are former Epic-philes. And their rules certainly should have improvements over a lot of stuff out there.  But I'm biased of course ! :D

[QUOTE]To tell ya the truth, I'm very much looking forward to DRM and E/W to release their rules.

The DRM rules are available as a free download on their site, complete with army lists and scenarios ...... :)

for the record i think they are a pretty good set of rules, even if they are still a WIP.

i too am waiting for the BKC sci-fi rules, army lists for DRM, EW, Epic stuff etc .....sounds great!!

right back on topic, im not holding my breath for any increased support from GW......epic is the best game they have ever made IMHO, if they want to ignore it then its their loss, theres plenty of alternatives. :)

cheers

I know, Tuffskull sent me the link !  And I think I'd choose those over E:A ... but again that's just my opinion ! :;):
