Righto, holiday season's finished and I'm back to dabbling with casting.

Seen here are my latest Tyranid casts:

- A biovore
- A Hive Tyrant
- A Tyrant Guard


I tried to make a mould for my Malanthrope and my new design of Hierodule at the same time, but those moulds failed... I'll re-attempt them soon.

Although it's not obvious he does have a nose-horn like the 40k model... getting that to cast reliably has been tough though.

The Tyrant is a four-part kit:

- Left half of body.
- Right half of body.
- Left arms
- Right arms


As with my carnifex, this means I'll be able to make a variant, like a winged Tyrant, by plugging in a different set of arms.


The Biovore & Tyrant Guard are one-piece models.
