Ive decided to make a BigMek Stompa with a SupaLiftaDrop for Apox. It will have the same basic layout as the classic Epic MekBoy Gargant and so with use VDR rulez as Apox doesnt alow the use of CC weaponz on such a Stompa.

Im basing my Stompa around this large KinderEgg container. Its from a speical Easter KinderEgg so is much larger than a normal one being around 4.5" in hight.

The plan is to make a headless Stompa by putting the facal features on the body itself... like so...






The legs will be attached by cutting holes into the body like so...






Here you can see where Ive cut the leg holes and added a base plate...






The centre plate was then added to attach the legs to...

Using some thick cardboard rolls I constructed the basic shoulder shape by again cutting holes in the hull and inserting the rolls. Using a plastic sphere I got from a vending machine I plan to make the toe-caps for the feet...






I used some plastic tubing to make the legs, getting them into a semi-dynamic pose that whilst gives a sence of movement, keeps both feet squarely on the ground making the Stompa very stable...






To thicken the legs n make them look more werky Ive just added various gubbinz with no real concideration for the physicz... so long as it lookz good thatz good anuf for me
To get the foot to look more 'boot' like Ive added some thick solez. These have been added to the sides as this way they correct the shape of the toecap which was too high...

Then I constucted a MegaBigShoota. Using the Kannon from a WW2 SturmTiger I make a 'WangKannon' After which I added the basic facal features...






After which I constructed a twin bladed RippaFist for the other arm and used the other half of the plastic sphere to make a helmet...






Then comez the most important part... the SupaLiftaDropa... which I made in the classic crane-arm design...

Just to give you a better idea of its size as I know a 'Barry' Ork isnt all that good when it comes to larger models, here it is next to a 12" ruler.
The very top of the crane arm is 11.5"
The top of the helmet 'not including the spike' is 6.5"
It is 5.5" wide from shoulder to shoulder
Note the addition of a Mega Skorcha to the RippaFist.



I added a large rokkit to the other shoulder...






To visualy depict the fact this Stompa carries force fields Ive used the KFF genarator from the BigMek model and housed it inside the Stompa'z helmet. I modified the round eye to make it look more like a ?'Gaze Of Gork' weapon...






With all the mayor construction done Ive now begun to add the smaller detailz n gubbinz...
